Jubo, just notice the odmp3flashplayer is down because of webserver owner potiental client in this server. No biggie?!? But this does not solve the problems of how ODmp3flashplayer is over-usage leeching :) jeez guys :)

Oh just to tell you the ODmp3player is down and most likely going to be revamped!!! Due to very very high demand of people downloading, streaming my massive collection. well there is more it's just I need to cut back you know <.<
So... ODmp3player maybe be only exclusive to song in the pack ^_^ as a preview :)

IT EFFECTS WHAT OD ONCE WAS NOW GONE!
Well, not totally gone!!!
Aside from the "version up" of OD Community? Still lacking the passion for StepMania lately... from the latest surge of interest on Osu! Since several members are joining the "craving" sensation of this rythmn game.
To another factor which is most common are: life, responibilities, problems, laziness and other interest/hobbies.
As for I, Jubo, am more interested in console gaming, asian dramas (3D, non-anime, fyi), LOST (American TV Series) and declining on anime watching and especially StepMania work!!!. But hopefully you'll see my StepMania work soon since... look below ---- I am trying or casually getting back to simfile duty!
Otaku's Dream Mix -PAD 1- News
So, I heard... or I am told from my special and almighty PAD leader... LK4D4.
That our long lasted or maybe final -official exclusive- pack as joint team? or maybe not since LK4D4, me/Jubo and others maybe contribute another PAD Mix. Since we are trying to venture into what I will explain later on. Once we released it!
Will be releasing really really soon... the finishing touches are in place, just the final "quality control/check" is needed and original simfile makers/authors/creators give their last consent/OKAY/agreement on the changes have been made.
As for what will be in the pack... haha! guess there are going to be several happy padders would like to start exploring over 100 songs. We or rather LK and his "team" will be trying a new thing for pack that ITGers will love!!! But most likely will be releasing AFTER the PAD mix is out.

Otaku's Dream V3 -
The Community Project
Alright, long story short.
After some thinking, we have decided to ditch the current mix (read: pack's canceled) and turn shit upside down once again.
After ODmix, we recieved more negative comments about how the simfiles were too hard. This sparked a debate about how our simfiles should be. This lead to a series of events which eventually drove one of our admins, nick to creating his own pack. Which in turn, made another one of our admins, Don, think that we should change the pack concept to releasing single files only. After some confusion we had a long discussion on what we should do with the current situation. After some pondering we came to the conclusion that we would scrap our current projects, and make Otaku's Dream a more community-based site. Right now, The submission income is low, judges are being lazy etc.
The new idea is that we become more user-friendly by making the community a lot more like a community, one where users help each other and most importantly, have fun with stepmania. This noble idea that was originally what kept stepmania lively and active has been dying for a long time. We're planning on resurrecting that idea.
Our current solution is:
- canceling pack projects
- modifying the boards and categories to fit the new style
- making a board for the stepmania community simfiles
- be more friendly
- act as a community
We're trying to encourage people to step simfiles and show those non-believing haters that stepmania is not dying. We also want to prove that how subjective stepamania actually is, and forget about the rules. The unspoken rules that were created during the early days of stepmania are now gone from this community. The only thing that matters is fun.
Here's how the board works:
You create a thread in the OD Community Singles board. This thread is yours only. You post your simfiles. Others play them. No judging. Only stepmania fun. And everyone is welcome.
Screw them elitist f*****s.

***This is a notice to all who use the site for the MP3 player.***
Please report if you know of any hot-linking. Someone is stealing the music from the site and it is costing a HUGE amount of bandwidth every *DAY*. (Currently at 300-400Gb/day not including all the other downloads)
If this continues I will be forced to sh...ut down the MP3 player until further notice as the bandwidth strain is far too much for the data-center to handle (dual 10Gbps pipes shared between 200 racks)
Jubo has put a lot of work into getting you guys this MP3 player with such a grand selection of musics. So, if you notice anyone hot-linking, please report to either myself or Jubo and we will deal with them swiftly.
